Check out the stair well. 8" main posts, 4" railings and 2" balusters. The treads are 4" x 12" x 4', all pine. This stair well is absolutely amazing, definitely the focal point of the entire home. More on the construction issues later. To say the least, it was challenging. Hats off to builder.
